DESIGN ENGAGEMENT PROCESS

Turfology prides itself on being a company that puts the game of golf first. Whether a facility is aiming to improve course conditions, enjoyment or simply looking at ways to improve the architectural quality, a multi-faceted approach is usually best.

Golf course improvements come in many forms, so a deliberate and concise approach to progress can hold a club or facility in good stead years into the future whilst ensuring congruency across the long-term decision-making process.

The Objectives

Here at Turfology, we like to begin by firstly establishing what a client is seeking to achieve and how a successful outcome would play out. This is not always easy, so we endeavour to remain hands on right throughout the process and carefully consider all limitations for a given site.

Collecting Data

Once a clear direction is established, Turfology conduct a thorough examination of the resources available and collate a wide range of data to provide up to the minute advice, recommendations and ongoing support as it best applies to an individual case.

Design Time

Remaining ever sympathetic to the traditions of years gone by, our design philosophy incorporates a mix of ‘Golden Age’ or classic style design with a modern spin that reflects the ever-changing landscape of agronomy and golf course design and construction.

Careful consideration is given to the strategic approach to design and with years of experience and a genuine love for the betterment of the game of golf, Turfology prides itself on ensuring that a venue has all facets ticked off and leaves a lasting legacy to be proud of.
